The star of the menu is undoubtedly their famed coconut chicken hot pot. This dish is a revelation—using broth infused with the essence of three whole fresh coconuts and a bottle of pristine Fiji water, it delivers a delicate balance of mildly sweet umami flavors that gently envelop tender, free-range chicken. The fragrant, light yet deeply satisfying broth creates a warm embrace, making each spoonful feel both comforting and invigorating.
The menu’s expansive seafood selection is equally impressive, presenting an array of fresh raw ingredients that diners cook themselves in the simmering hot pot. From succulent blue crabs and sweet white shrimp to tender baby cuttlefish and luxurious abalone, each item promises a vibrant oceanic freshness that enhances the hot pot’s savory depth. For those craving heartier textures, the grass fish fillets and sea cucumber meat provide a wonderfully chewy, satisfying bite.
Adding to the experience is ChiChicken’s thoughtful self-service sauce station, where a special dipping sauce can be mixed and matched, elevating each morsel with an individualized burst of flavor. Complementing the hot pot are inventive noodle and rice options like the creamy cheese rice cake, silky wide vermicelli, and the indulgent Sichuan fried rice, delivering rich and bold notes to round out the meal.

First time having coconut chicken hotpot and it was surprisingly delicious. They used up 3 whole coconuts and 1 bottle of Fiji water for the initial broth. The free range chicken was of high quality and went so well with the mildly sweet umani broth. Price is high but you pay for the quality
This was the first time I had coconut chicken and I loved it! The interior of this restaurant is spacious and cozy. Service here is quick and kind. We got the coconut chicken and a variety of ingredients for our hotpot. They have a wide selection of different meats, veggies, and appetizers. Everything was great quality and fresh. Loved how comforting and delicious the coconut chicken broth was! Would definitely come back.
We had a great time eating hot pot here. The coconut chicken hot pot is delicious, and the service is also great. The staff helped us cook the chicken, distributed the soup to everyone, and even helped us pick chicken out when it’s in the best texture. The ingredients are also high quality. Highly recommend!
Excellent hotpot! The coconut chicken broth is light, fragrant, and delicious. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh. Service was great too and attentive. Will definitely be back!
Chi Chicken was a great surprise! We ordered the Hot Pot Chicken, and it was incredibly flavorful — rich and very comforting, especially if you enjoy bold, authentic Chinese flavors. The chicken was tender and soaked up the broth perfectly. What really stood out was the generosity: they included lots of complimentary side dishes and snacks, which made the meal feel even more satisfying and fun. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. Portions were generous, the food was served hot, and the overall experience felt very worth it. Definitely a place I’d come back to if I’m craving hot pot–style chicken. Highly recommend!
We tried this new hotpot place for my birthday. Unfortunately, there was no special birthday treat or acknowledgment, which was a bit disappointing. The chicken broth was fresh and flavorful, and the service was attentive. However, the meal was expensive—$98 just for the broth for four people, and with side dishes and toppings, the bill came to around $300. The sauce bar wasn’t worth the extra charge, with very limited options. Unless they offer an all-you-can-eat menu or adjust their pricing, we probably won’t be back.
Recently tried a fish maw chicken hot pot spot and really appreciated the overall experience. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, with a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Right after we sat down, the staff explained how to enjoy the hot pot properly — suggesting we taste the broth first before adding the chicken and fish maw. Throughout the meal, they checked in at the right moments, refilled the broth, replaced plates, and made sure everything was going smoothly without being intrusive. The pacing of the service felt very natural and well-timed. As for the food, the broth was light, clean, and comforting. The fish maw was generous and nicely tender, and the chicken stayed juicy. A place that stands out not just for the food, but also for thoughtful, attentive service — definitely somewhere I’d return to.
